> What is the  Costa Rica currency?

In Costa Rica we use colones, but you can bring American dollars  and they will take them everywhere. So don’t worry about where to find them, just make sure that you have small bills such as 10's - 20's and 50's. Most of the places WON’T TAKE $100 BILLS.

We recommend packing $40 extra dollars for a CD with pictures of you surfing. It is a great souvenir to take home with your surfing memories

Example: horseback riding AND canopy tour.. Perfect! Sign up for one now on-line and when you arrive you can sign up and pay for the other.

> Will there be free time?

Absolutely! All of our activities are recommended but not mandatory You can do as little or as much of the daily activities offered. Plus we will always have a little downtime scheduled into the game plan.

> Is there night life?

Jaco and Playa Hermosa are well known for the nightly activities, there is always something going on somewhere in this surf town. Usually our surfing chicas at the camp have full days of good work out and by dinner time every one is ready to hit the sack.  BUT, there are some local hot-spots that are easy to access by taxi from your hotel, that offer specialty nights, live music and themed events. Keep in mind that alcohol is not included in the package prices, but we do understand the need for some cold ones after an epic day on the tropics.
